The company requests the Employer Registration Certificate from the National Migration Institute
The company requests the National Immigration Institute through a letter of employment offer to grant a visa to a foreign person in order to be hired in Mexico.
The National Migration Institute reviews and accepts the application for a job offer and authorizes it.
The foreigner goes to an embassy for a consular interview; if this is approved, the foreigner will have his or her work VISA.
The foreigner arrives in Mexico and will exchange the FMM that they will be given when showing their visa, for a resident card with a work permit valid for one year.
